Cognac grande champagne


For centuries, the Cognac region has been very famous all over the world concerning distillation.

For several generations, the Thorin family has transmitted the know-how to distill, from father to son. Today, as a « Vigneron Indépendant » and a distiller, Claude Thorin distills his own wines in the respect of the traditions.

The harvest is distilled in five 25 hl copper stills. Claude Thorin uses the traditional method which consists of 2 distillations that keep the character and quality of the eaux-de-vie de Cognac. To obtain his subtle eau-de-vie, he distills wines with their lees.
